The feeling took shape
The T-shirts are finished.
The first sale was at a classmates’ gathering. I just hoped everyone would come and have a great time. With that in mind, I decided to start by selling about 15 shirts at wholesale price.
Right there on the spot, everyone changed into them, and we took a commemorative photo.
Not everyone is a huge Stray Cats fan. But they know the songs. And there is a dream in this.
The message that arrived the next day
The next day, I posted on Instagram, and a few DMs came in saying, “I want one.”
A circle that began at a small gathering had started to widen, little by little.
Spreading it out from Miyakojima, little by little
COME ROCK MIYAKO ISLAND! These words carry my wish to bring the Stray Cats to this island.
I hope that feeling reaches someone, and then connects to the next person. I’d like to keep the story of the T-shirts as one part of this project’s journey.
